Animal Rights

Many people ask my why I am an animal right pacifist, it´s not because I enjoy being sworn at and spat upon by the horrid people that treat animals badly, its not because I like getting threatining emails in my inbox wnenever I switch on my computer, or because I like getting hate mail, it´s because I love animals and believe that they deserve to be treated with loving kindness and respect, they are God´s creatures and we should value them, just as we should respect other human beings we meet.
What of the people that say to me and my Dad that I should not get involved in such things, it is wrong for someone of my age and silly and unsafe, well to them I say you will not stop me from doing what I strongly believe in. I do it because I want to make a difference, I want to be effective, and I know I am when I annoy bad cruel people who haven´t got the courage to tell me to my face what they think of me. Many adults tell me that they wouldn´t dare to do what I do, to them I say If I can do it so can you, after all what better cause is there than sticking up for our friends the animals, who have no voice.
