My blog Been a Long TimeCannot believe it´s been since May (or was it March?!!) that I last wrote! So much has happened. Sam ....Still searching for Sam via a dowser and yet more leaflets drops. I´ve added his pic on www.grumpyarseblogspot.com and updated other webs he is on. I just cannot ´let him go´. Sam was 3 in March. He has been missing 2 years, 2 months and 1 day. But for 6 months out of that he was enjoying his adventure in The Wilds. I wrote a short story competition with the academy of Children´s writers and was shortlisted. I hope to write more and you never know ... maybe luck will shine and I will get these published. Me ... my Nan had a stroke but at 87 has amazed everyone with her fight. that´s the Cox family for you! She only has trouble moving left hand fingers but doing so damn well ... and loved her lager shandy down the pub today! My flat is up for rent (if anyone knows anyone in the Peterborough area who is looking for a flat in a friendly nice area in PE3 please contact Countrywide Residential Lettings on 01733 341888. Ray sold his home in 2 days ... yep it´s still possible! We found an old house only to discover it has £25K of subsidence. We found another 1826 cottage and the vendor messed us about so much we pulled out. Ray and I are moving our stuff into storage and staying elsewhere till we find a house. Does anyone know what Friday Bridge, Norfolk is like? I am busy editing my book, other writings, doing a course. Oh and packing! Joey ... he is OK and less grumpy at the mo. He knows something is up because the furniture is slowly disappearing ... so he has become very clingy. At the mo he is out for hours on end so when we stay elsewhere i think the Grumpyarse in him will return as he cannot go out! When we find the new house, he will be back on harness, which strangely he doesn´t mind - probably coz he is still outside! He also has a cat competition - click on his picture. Tabitha - she actually goes outside in wind and rain now!! She is doing well and definitely cannot tell we are moving stuff in and out! As long as she can sit in the field and catch bugs she is happy. Oh and filling her tummy! Comments |
