Valentine Toys!

On the 14th Feb 2009 the Greenwich Chihuahua & Toydog meetups with RubyScrumptious group metup at Greenwich Park for a Valentine Toys park & pub outing!

The weather was amazing (a bloody miracle!) and we were having such a great time in the park that I almost regretted having planned the pub part of the day!

The Gipsy Moth PH in Greenwich, London advertises itself as being dog-friendly so we thought we would give them a try! I had rang ahead to make sure that a load of little yappy dogs wasn´t pushing our luck lol but they said they were not afraid! (I wondered if they had ever met more than one Chihuahua!? haha)... we got there early afternoon and the place was packed(!) it seemed that every couple and group of singleton friends on the planet had decided to come out for a Valentines Day lunch! (yes they serve food in the restaurant too!)...we found a lovely spot in the huge garden - although dogs are allowed in the pub it was so busy and quite warm inside! - and aside from the long wait at the bar it was a very enjoyable afternoon!

Also metup with a lovely girl in the park with a Chi/Griffon cross who is going to join the group after tagging along for the park part of the day!
