My blog Been long timeIts been ages since I last updated my petstreet blog, so here we are with a updated blog. A couple of months ago I sadly lost Ronnie which was heartbreaking as Donny his brother was left behind and they were so very close. So I quickly brought Donny in and put him side by side next to Bernie my indoor piggy and eventually bonded them successfully, so far! All the pigs managed to get through the horrible winter weather we had, It got to the point where the shed required heating so hubby got to work sorting that out and they were warm and comfy when the snow and temperatures really dropped. Amber Trixie and Tillyfluff have all turned 2, we celebrated their birthday with spinach and a huge amount of fresh redi grass I had just bought (smelt lovely Mmmm) Basil has had a bath and much needed hair trim, with the winter months being so cold he got a little mucky but it was too great a risk bathing him and putting him back out in the shed, the temperature changes would have probaly killed him, so I waited for a lovely warmish sunny day and went about transforming him into a respectable looking pig, I am quite pleased with my piggy hairdressing skills :) Pinky our Westie is doing great and really enjoyed the snow especially at the local park where she met her mate Snowy another Westie. They spent the morning running around playing and barking at people on their sledges who were getting in their way, Pinky wasnt used to her park being so busy with lots of people. Felix and sox are both doing well, felix went missing for a week we got to the point where posters were put up around the neighbourhood and to be honest I thought he wasn´t going to return. A week later I heard his familiar miaow opened my front door to very hungry little cat who looked particularly well, maybe the posters prompted some one to check their shed or garage? We were pleased he came home safely. I think that´s it for now. Will try and update again soon :) Comments |
