Poorly cat possible FIP???

Hi all,

My 6 month old kitten, Ollie, was ill recently with possible Toxoplasma....she recovered pretty well but she is still not 100%...she has balance issues and isn´t eating as well as i feel she should be. The vet has mentioned screening for FIP...which on looking it up I have seen is fatal :o(
Has anyone had any experience of FIP? If she has got it, it is dry FIP not wet.
