My blog Cats & PuddlesHi Everyone, Karin here. I´m curious. Why do cats drink from puddles? My two cats have access to clean water in 3 places at home. 1 is there bowl, and the 2 others are from glasses because cats like to drink from see-through vessels - and they drink a lot. However, when they go outside they never fail to drink from a dirty old puddle! Any ideas? Enjoying the site......  Comments  14 May 2010 18:30 Hi Karen I think it must be a wild thing my dog has fresh water 2 bowls daily she hardly looks at also a fresh bowl in the garden she occasionally uses but the filthy park puddles and garden puddles she loves and she never seems to be ill think of all the lovely flavours in a puddle clean water must be boring lol  14 May 2010 18:02 Hello, It´s funny, ´cause there is a MASSIVE puddle out in our ´new back garden´ and Flossy was drinking out of it! By the time I got home, the puddle was nearly gone,XD ! It got me wondering too.
