My blog Happy FamiliesIts been 2 weeks since the big C affected our baby. she is doing great, peppy, waggy, and still very much a typical lab. She is slightly going off her food & losing weight (which is a lot as she is so tiny anyway) little worried, but trying to tempt her with cooked salmon !!! Still lots of walks and cuddles. My other babies Amber & Willow are brilliant - very well behaved - well, until Amber decided she wanted to wallow in the stinkiest, dirtiest, blackest water ever on our walk last night .... not good. just wanted to say thanks again to everyone here, for all their messages of support & help xx Comments 24 Jun 2009 16:45 Hi Kate I know you will do your best for Mia however long she´s with you, and that is the sign of a true animal lover, give her a cuddle from me - all the best Su xx 23 Jun 2009 21:47 So glad to read this blog!!!! thanks for keeping us up to date, and it foes without saying that we are all here if needed. Big pats xx 23 Jun 2009 21:44 Glad your baby is still doing well you could try science plan food to tempt her we gave it to my cat when he had cancer and you can get a kind of paste one and its really stinky so appeals to them, you´re vet will probably sell it. (Also depending on how far you want to go the paste will go into a syringe for feeding) naughty Amber getting all dirty and wet you´ll have to have a word lol. |
