Worried about Boo

Today has been a worrying and emotional day.

My mini lop rabbit, Boo-boo, was perfectly fine when I left her last night, but this morning I knew immediately that something was not right. There was sawdust everywhere and Boo was lying down. At first I thought she had just had a mad moment and kicked some of her bedding out the cage, but as she began to walk I noticed she was dragging some of her legs. Horror ran through me as I watched her try to climb across the floor, (to make sure I wasn´t imagining anything) struggling to stay up.

She also looked like she had a bad tummy as her fur was matted.
I wisked her to the vets, after getting an appointment via one frantic phone call, and sat terrified knowing that something was wrong.
My vet, Sally, was lovely to us. She was scared by her partial-paralysis but was encouraged by her alert nature and the fact that, what ever was wrong with her was not affecting her appetite.

After some much needed fibre jabs and a small shot of steriods she sent us on our way till the following day. We now sit and wait to see how she will progress, not really knowing what´s wrong with her and hoping its not permantent.
