Poor Marley

Marley´s only 14mths and our vet has said if he operates it will affect his distance vision,so we are leaving it to see how quickly(but hopefully slowly) it develops.It could worsen in a matter of months or could be years so he´s just getting regular check-ups.....fingers x´ed

how old is Marley as my last g.s.d Zara who died 3years ago aged 17yrs had cataract in her eyes but she still managed to get about she had hers since she was 14yrs old.

Yes when we had Akitas, we had to have eye checks, as they have eye problems to.

can be, but the problem being we dont know if this is genetic or just started to develop,obviously cos we dont know where he came from we dont know if his breeder had him eye and hip checked.

Are husky´s prone to cataracts ???????
