When the pups were born

I can tell you i was really excited when i heard the news that the puppies were on there way. The first one came out at 7.20pm and the last one 10.30pm on 23rd June 2009, i just wanted to jump on the next bus and go and see them but it was late and i had work the next day. I was so excited that i couldn´t sleep that night.
Wednesday came and i had to go to work, all day all i could think about was the pups and the mum of course, just wanted to know they were all ok and to see them. I finished work and went round to see them, wow i was so surprised how big they were, they all weighed a LB each, which i think is good. Mum was feeding them at the time, i didn´t want to pick them up or anything and desturb mum.
I picked Star out from that day, i had the pick of the litter cause my friends dog was the daddy of the pups and he knew how much i wanted a new dog, never thought about having a Staffy before but his dogs got a good nature and i did alot of reading and thinking about it even before they were born. I picked Star cause she was the lightest of all of them, she was a cream colour when she was first born and shes only changed colour since she was about 4-5 weeks old, still light tho. I had also decided on a name for her, so she was called Star from that day one.
I didn´t stay to long cause i thought it not fair on the mum, this was her first litter and i know they need peace and time alone with the pups.
She had 8 all together, 5 boys and 3 girls..Brindle ones and brown- tan ones.
