Sent by the Angels

This is the story of Little Joe a very special puppy.

In 2003 my husband & i found out i was pregnant for the first time at 39 yrs old.
It was two days before we set off to rhodes for our fortnights holiday.

This was a big shock for both of us as it wasn´t planned.

We set off on our hols but no sooner had we got there i started to feel unwell.
I refused to see a doctor & convinced myself i would be ok.

One day we set off on a sightseeing trip & as we drove through woodland i noticed a couple & small puppy at the side of the road.

Stranger still when we got back to our appartments there was this little puppy he had been picked up by the appartment owners who had decided to keep him.

He was adorable & seemed to want to follow Ian & i everywhere, we would sneak him into our room at night & he would sleep under our sunbed during the day we named him Little Joe he looked like a little doberman type & i fell in love with him.

We had taken my two stepsons with us & Ian & the two boys would often watch the football matches at the taverna whilst i would go to bed early as i felt so tired on the evening Little Joe would come back with me & snuggle up on the bed with me watching me with his gorgeous chocolate eyes.

As the holiday progressed Little Joe would follow us round & seemed very reluctant to leave me just before we were due to leave i collapsed & it became clear i was losing my baby Joe never left me & even tryed to get into the ambulance with me.

I was rushed to hospital where it was discovered i had an eptopic pregnancy & had to have surgery.

I nearly died & the Greek staff battled to save me it turned out it was twins one was in the normal place but the other had ruptured my fallopian tube it was touch & go.

I spent a week in hospital as i had to have major abdominal surgery but all i wanted was to go back to our resort to find Little Joe i felt he had been my little Guardian Angel.

After getting out of hospital our flight had been arranged for two days later & i told ian i wanted to try to find Little Joe we went back to our resort but he had apparently vanished the same nite i had gone into hospital.

No one had seen him since.

I wanted so much to bring that little dog home & i would have done eveything to do it if only i could have found him again im convinced he was sent by the Angels to watch over me & will never forget him as long as i live xxx

I have a lovely photo of us together when we first saw him but it´s on my pc at home so will have to post it later.

I still think about him now & wish with all my heart i could have found him again & brought him home i have never known a puppy like him he seemed so grown up & wise.

I really do think he was sent to me for a reason & i hope wherever he is now he is happy.
