Yes, I think it is over the top. On the subject of fireworks, what really gets on my boobies is people who set off fireworks IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY! Er, I think I´ve got a bit of news for those people: the whole idea is to set them off A T N I G H T - yes? - as you can S E E T H E B R I G H T C O L O U R S. (I´m typing as if I´m speaking: really slowly!) xxx

yes they gone over the top with the fireworks there illegal in the republic of ireland yet people still managed to sneek them in i feel for all animals as the fireworks scare them

i agree JuneR i had 2 do HS for my job but i do think its over the top .. now .. and as i said its not just fire works and yes they should just do displays it would be better organized .. i do feel for pets and wild animals they cant know whats going on .. but i do agree with u xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi, ´used to work for Health an Safety Executive´ so know some of the rules and to be honest it is the little ´hitlers´ in local Gov´...an in schools who seem to make the rules up as they go along using HS as a rule of thumb, when it may not be them or their rules, some real rules give licence to these bureaucrats to do an say what ´they´ want.
´Altho´ fireworks have caused a lot of damage to people, as seen on TV recently when a 19yr old had them blow up in his face...as he had then in his pocket...so????and our animals suffer every year thro´ fear of this noise outpouring, so ´I would rather not have it´ sorry!! damp squid that I am....lol x

Yes its definitely gone over the top, its all this bloody human rights and people suing for the least little thing thats made it worse.
