I recently added to the thread titled Tizer and wanted to mention this in my blog as I think its so important that we protect the Staff and the breeds image and indeed all breeds of dog, which are at threat due to irresponsible owners. It would be criminal for this to escalate to a point where Staff’s are viewed as equally dangerous as the Pitbull and banned. Dogs shouldn’t be generalised they are like people (well I think so) in the respect that they all have different personalities that determine the way they behave and interact with others. I object when an entire breed is deemed dangerous due to publicised examples of violence; the blame lies with people so why are we punishing the dogs? If you go to the Battersea dogs & cats home you see hundreds of staffs that are lovely and super friendly dogs! And it´s such shame there is plenty of them over there, because now everyone wants a protective staff and they breed from pure greed. So why, some of them become aggressive...the only owners can answer this! |
