My blog naughty cats :PHey every 1 so the last few months have been hectic, i´m in my new apartment if only temp, the whole crew is fine apart from my 2 lil devils who have picked up a nasty habit and cost me a couple of months worth of wages............. It started a few weeks after we moved when rambo peed on my bed covers, angry but got over it as it could of been the move, so to cut a very long story short and 2 bed covers, Leather boots and other items destroyed later due to peeing fatailty i´m at my wits end we tryed every solutions in the books vet trips and behavioust but nothing was working. Anyway i found out that it was my cleaning they hated (typical bloke) the products i was using had annoma in it and rambo was obviously very sensitive to this as i have owned 5 cats and he was the only 1 who had a problem with my cleaning style, so thanks to him i had to buy all new cleaning products lol Problem solved tho :)))  Comments  29 Nov 2009 12:47 yeah i never used bleach any cos of this just didn´t realise other products carried this same scent i have brought some products which is enzyme based which breaks down the crstals in cats pee unlike some products (yes which i used) which only masked smells but does not get rid of them especially when it gets warm in our appartment. Look how much our animals make us more knowledgable with age (i say age cos after sleepless nites of cat watching ) lol Member Removed 29 Nov 2009 12:42 lol, vicky, he must love you. bleach is poison to cats, best not to use it . well you found that out after the waterfall,lol. i buy this spray that is called rabbit and hutch cleaner, well it is a pump action bottle and it´s got a nice smell, i use that to clean up after mine. 29 Nov 2009 12:38 yeah i heard that bleech contains something that is also in cat´s pee but i didn´t realise that it was in alot more of the common products as well lol and when he peed it weren´t a lil pressie it was like a water fall lol and he even did it when i was in bed right on top of me, talk about a protest or what lol Member Removed 29 Nov 2009 12:31 hi vicky,nice to hear how you have been getting on. sounds like you have been very busy but glad to hear that you are now settled in. errm, glad that rambo likes your new cleaning products, lol, a friend of mine has a dog that did the same thing, little prezzies on the bed ,:-) |
