RIP RUBY xxx

On friday our beautiful snake Ruby died, she was a lovely little thing and my heart is well and truely broken. I have been so upset and have had some people tell me she was only a snake, and not to be so silly! surely, any loss, wether a hamster or a dog and all the glorious creatures inbetween, matters, to those who loved. Xmas will always be Ruby roo´s time, every year I open the xmas decoration box, I think of the time she was lost, 3 months, no food, no heat and badly wounded from the cats, I was sure she was lost forever! then, as I opened the decoration box, In all the tinsel and baubles, was a very cold Ruby, sh crawaled straight in to me hand a stayed there for hours :)
