Caspers health progress

Caspers health started to progress since being on the thyroid tablets with him losing weight, his health has since took a turn for the worst since with him now being diagnosed with a heart murmur last month. This month hes been diagnosed with alzheimers.The vet has put him on tablets to thin the blood and ive seen some slight improvement with him. He will be 9 in April and as he has a life span of 10yrs i fear that day looming nearer where i might have to do the decent thing. Im dreading when that day comes and although i try not to think about it his age and health problems keep reminding me. Will keep you posted although i dont get on here that often as i would like to.

tina i have never spoken to you before but i wish you and casper welland hope truelly everything turns out ok i can understand the worry but cherish him and continue to love him that is what counts the most to you and he all the best wishesxxxxx

The vet doesnt seem to be too bothered with that either Tina but at his age i do worry about him a lot. Yes Vena when the vet say its time and they carnt do no more for him then although it will be heartbreaking for me i will do right by him. I will worry for Tia as well as she hates to be apart from him. I think she knows hes getting on a bit and that hes not too well either she never leaves his side, its like shes looking after him in a way. It will be hard when the day comes. x

Its very hard when a pets health is getting worst, but 9 is a very good age for a boxer, I know this may sound strange, but don´t worry about Casper´s heart murmur, as one of my pups was born with a murmur & she is now 17 months old & full of mischief. xx
