Supreme Cat Show 2011-Birmingham NEC Halls

It was my first visit and I had an extremely enjoyable day wandering around to look at all of the beautiful cats on display. Some of them were clearly used to all the attention from visitors as they calmly sat looking out from their cages or getting close to the bars to lick people´s fingers. Other cats were very shy and trying to hide underneath their cushions or behind blankets- I did feel sorry for them trying to get a bit of privacy. I was pleased to be able to see a Cornish Rex in real life and to admire its woolly looking coat, also the beautiful and rather grumpy looking Persians. Good to see the Bengal cats for the first time- I had only seen pictures of them before and they have such beautiful markings. The trade stands had some excellent cat toys and food- I managed to buy some things towards Daisy´s Christmas presents so it was well worth travelling from London to Birmingham for the day. There was such a nice atmosphere there as all of the visitors were clearly cat lovers.
