Healing - an alternative therapy. Margrit CoatesPet Type Dog Issue Illness and disease management Healing is the connection of the energy field of the healer to the animal. The actual healing energy comes from a source in the universe. Any one can give healing, what’s important is the intent ( wanting to help) and the focus of the healer ( concentrating on the animal and not letting the mind wander). To give healing try the following Place a hand or fingers gently on or slightly above the animals body and imagine a beam of light are coming from your finger tips and travelling deep into your pets body, right to the soul. Playing some soothing music whilst offering healing can help create a suitable atmosphere. Healing can be given as often as needed, and in acute cases every few hours. Healing can safely be given to any animal, and at any age, even the new born or pregnant animals. Signs of healing being received by the animal can include sleepiness, licking, yawning, sighing, muscles twitching. Sometimes people feel heat or tingling in their hands. Healing has been shown to speed tissue repair and help with pain relief. Healing can bring a sense of peace and improved well - being. Healing can be used alongside conventional medication and treatment. Healing should not be used instead of asking a vet for advice, or instead of veterinary care or treatment. |
