Dog sitting

Hi i have 2 dogs who are our substitute children. I have recently been very poorly and unable to work for 3 years. Over the past 6 months I've started back part time and now fel ready to do more. However, I have my boys, in the long term I aim to work from home but short term I need some help looking after them.
Can anyone help, I would like to set up a data base that helps people like myself contact ones who haven't for any reason got a pet, but do want the company. I was thinking along the lines of maybe elderly, who may have lost their pets maybe having them for an afternoon! At no cost to them! Anyone Help? Anna
