I would,nt be without them hope this helps. 31 Jan 2008 03:19 Glad you posted a little update on this. I wasn't thinking about getting another bird, but I wondered if I did, would it stop the one I've got, speaking and being so human-friendly, and it turns out it probably would ! No birdy friends for Pom-pom then ! Think we best just stick to chirpy friends on here. 06 Jan 2008 12:24 Thanks for that! i did have him a friend for a 4 weeks, when we rescued another bird but i had to find it a home he stoped talking as much and i thought if he has another friend for good then he will stop all together! 05 Jan 2008 22:06 Hi Lizzie I dont think you have to threat about the bird not talking as long as you keep talking to him after you get the new bird he'll still chat away. It sounds like he is quite content being on his own if he chats all the while. but I realy dont think that you will have any problem with him but introduce the other bird slowly to him and dont forget to still give him the attention he has been used to cause he could get a we bit jealious. I hope I've helped a little best of luck in whatever u decide |
