So sorry Suzanne that your wee doggy is sick. I think by posting this on here that you probably have a good idea yourself. I agree with Becky. You have to do what you know is right for your girls. Only you know how she is at the moment and you will know when it is right. Send me a pic and I will send her a bit of reiki, may help her prepare for moving on.
take care

I'm sorry to hear of your yorkie. My view is it is far better a week too early than a day too late. Our pets are very fortunate that we can totally prevent suffering and let them go peacefully and with dignity.

My little Mongrel, Leo, had kidney failure. The only reason I took him to the vet was because his breath stank so much and that's when he smelt his breath and told me. Three weeks later he had stopped eating, stopped drinking and had no interest in anyone or anything. His circulation had also gone, so he spent all his time sleeping by a radiator. I would have euthanised him earlier had it not been for the distress of my daughter, who stayed up with him every night giving him water through a syringe. Please don't let it get that far. You know your dog will not recover; it is kinder to him to do it sooner rather than later. I wish you strength and courage.

Hi Suzanne,
I was very sorry to read your posting in regard to your dear little Yorkie and from what I have read,I have no hesitation in saying to you.........please,please take your little friend to the vet's as soon as possible to discuss her detoriation and unwillingless to eat.
It maybe that she has simply given up and feeling very unwell, hence the loss of appetite, the sleeping alot,etc.....everything point's too..she need's the vet and only they can advise you as what is best to do next for her.
Personally,though......I believe you yourself know's the answer and it is you and only you along with the expert advise from your vet...who can make the ulitmate and sad decision.
Please do not leave her any longer than you have too.......she is clearly very unwell and her quality of life,is not really ideal any longer.
It is an extremely and exceedingly difficult time and I really, feel for you........but be strong and do what deep down you know what you need to do.
Sorry, that I cannot tell you any more advice as such...but your vet, will and is the only person who can do that.....I wish you all the very best and do please take care.
