hi all need some info on dangerous dogs act and blue irish staffs

hi all my friend just bought a ´blue irish staffy´ with papers, she wants to know if this is a true breed and if their classed under the dangerous dogs act. i personally dont know much about kennel clubs ect.. could someone enlighten us.
she is not blue, (im not sure if this makes any difference) very long legged, greeneyes, she has her papers is chipped and insured so i dont think their to dodgy, just need to know more.
