When they reach a year you can drop down to once a day feeding, or stick to twice, whichever fits in with your routine. They should be fed a good quality puppy food, which Hills definitely is, until they are a year and then you can move to an adult dog food. Follow the feeding guide on the dog food bag for how much to feed her, Hills is an excellent diet and the guidelines will be accurate. However, it is important to realise all dogs are individuals and these are only guidelines. The reason you have to feed them several times daily is their stomachs are small and they couldn´t eat all the nutrition they would need to grow properly in one or two meals, especially when they are small. As for how much she will weigh, that is difficult to answer, probably around 12 to 15 kg. More important than weight is body condition, ask your vet to check her. You could probably just pop into the clinic to have her weighed and for the nurses to look over her. I hope this helps you Cat |
