Walking More Than 1 Dog

I have two dogs, Roxy who is 2 and a half and Tia who is 6 months old. They are both SBT´s and although Tia is only a pup she is very strong already and is going to be a big girl!

Training is going fantastically well and I am thrilled with Tia´s progress. One thing I personally struggle with is walking them both, does anyone have any advice, should I walk them on 1 lead or two leads on one side?

For the most part my partner and I have one dog each so that Tia can learn to walk to heel etc but when I am walking them alone I will need to be able to handle them both as practically as possible for them as well as me so any advice would be great!!

Thanks Vena, I am sure they will, Roxy is really good when I look after my niece, Tia is still at the stage where even a fly can grab her attention and she wants to chase it!

Thanks guys!
Jo, I admire your strength being able to walk Tasha and Zak on a split lead, I can see how big they are just from your pic!
K9, I am not surprised your girlfriend got pulled over with Aslan, he is hardly the shy retiring type is he?! LOL

My other half and I talked about this last night and I think we will carry on with seperate leads for now and as he rightly pointed out, soon we will also have a pushchair to contend with so it will almost always take two of us anyway!!
