Why is my cat drooling?I noticed Babs my girl cat has a wet left cheek quite often and some drool on that side, she doesn´t seem to hurt at all and she had her teeth cleaned bout 7 months ago but it is a lot of drool. She has been like this for 2 days, what is it? Thanks Cat. If she had dental work only a few months ago it would be unusual for the teeth to be causing problems already. It is possible she has something stuck in her mouth, so have a good look if you can, or she may have been in a fight and been injured on her cheek. You need to take her to your vet for them to examine her, drooling from the mouth usually indicates pain of some sort and the sooner you can sort it out the better! Cat |
