Any of you own a dog hotel/kennel near me????

Hi Kaamy - as the owner of a small boarding kennels and cattery and sometimes requiring to board my own dogs when we close - my advice to you is have a good look around - you should not need to make an appt to view - we always seay it´s open house during our opening hours in other words look around anytime whilst we are open. That way customers know that the kennels is as it is anytime whereas making appts may mean they have cleaned up or whatever just for a viewing which isn´t right.
Ask about walking, feeding , vaccination requirements and proof of that (we don´t just take customers word for it we ask for vaccination cards or if they´re forgotten we ALWAYS telephone their vets to confirm vaccination status. You need to ensure the dog´s don´t mix as you never know who gets on with who and it may be too late if kennels have a policy of introducing other dogs to other dogs as once bitten it´s too late and explain that one to a pet owner - so we always exercise dogs separately . Obvously by looking round you will see whther it´s clean - there really should not be a strong doggy smell if they clean and hose daily.

Hi Kaamy when i lived in Hertfordshire,´´ Dovart Kennels´´ always had a good reputation, they used to breed GSD dont know if they still do.
