I was just in the garden and I had a white squrriel in it. I have never seen a white one before, To be honest I thought I was seeing things but no it was a white squrriel. I threw it down some monkey nuts and he took one and went up the tree. I was just wondering has anyone else seen a white squrriel before? Did it have red eyes too? 30 Oct 2008 21:01 What a lucky girl you are Sue, was a definitely a squirrel?? I have only ever seen grey and red ones. 30 Oct 2008 20:19 Then what a rare sighting you did see Sue......a pure albino ´grey squirrel´...what a privilege and yes do please try and get a piccie...how wonderful!!. 28 Oct 2008 21:47 It defo had pink eyes it was amazing it looked right at me and yes will try and get a picture so I can show everyone . 28 Oct 2008 18:12 What a wonderful sight and what a rarity too..........it is possible to get white squirrels (and NO I´ve never seen one, red´s yes but not white). If it had pink eye´s then it would have been a genuine ´albino´ and extremely rare..but if it´s eye´s were of the normal browny black, then it must just have a pigmentation issue and although still rare,is a little more common than the ´albino´. Whatever..what a privileged and wonderful sighting you were lucky enough to have experienced and next time,if your lucky enough to see it again...try and get a piccie !!! (LOL). |
