 Our dear collie x Poppy sadly had to be put to sleep on 30 October. She had been suffering from a tumour in her shoulder and we were going to have her leg and shoulder amputated. She did not have the operation as she had an infection, came home and her health detoriated. Unfortunately, I was in Devon but her Dad was with her till the end, the Vet and Nurse came round and put her out of suffering, at home in her bed by the radiator Comments Post a comment in this discussion 02 Nov 2008 22:00  Description How lovely that she was in her own bed by the radiator - no stress or trauma, just everlasting peace.
