My dogs leg will get injured again. Its kind of a vet question but my dog rolls over when she catchesd a ball and she does this roll with great speed. She has already injured her paw before and we have had to stop throwing it and we have started a bit but she still rolls. Its a great way to exercise her but i dont want to hurt her. What do you advise i do to stop her hurting herself again? It´s good that her paw has healed successfully...I can´t quite remember her old injury now (sorry) but so long as she seem´s fine,is not sore or lame and has no other problems and so long as your vet given you the all clear...I´d be tempted to not overdo strenuous exercise and just do small rolls of the ball rather than throwing it. This way she will catch the ball between her two paws as the ball rolls towards her and won´t (shouldn´t) have the need to roll awkwardly......I hope that help´s and all the best with her now!. |
