Can anyone advise....??Hi all. I was wondering if any cat owners out there could help me with a problem? I grew up with a house full of cats, right from when I was a newborn. I never suffered any allergic reactions. But, as an adult I can´t go near a cat without my ears, noe and throat becoming itchy, then my chest tightens and I spend up to 24 hours sneezing and wheezing, and that´s after I´ve left the house wear the cat is! I can´t have a dog at present due to health prblems, and really miss having cats. Do any of you know of something I can do to lessen the allergic symptoms I get around cats???? I really hate not having a pet to love. She´s soo lovely! She´s sending me some stuff straight away. I can´t wait to get started on the treatment. I´m gonna test it out at the RSPCA cattery that´s just 5 minutes from my house. I´m sure they´ll let me spend a bit of time cuddling the cats, they´re always asking for helpers. Thanks again Mary. xx 19 Feb 2009 18:08 that´s bril, thanks Mary. (that´ll save one of kittens from last year being returned, cos the new boyfriend is allergic!) 19 Feb 2009 12:41 Thanks babe! That´s brilliant I use homeopathy all the time. At the moment I can´t afford ongoing treatment sessions tho. I had kinesiology when I was pregnant with my second child too. Fantastic! I do so miss being surrounded by cats, lol. But my dream - sincde i was 5 years old - is to own a cavalier king charles spaniel..... One day, when I´m well enough. Thanks again hun xxx 19 Feb 2009 12:00 It is possible to be de-sensitized against cat allergies (indeed all allergies) with the alternative treatment of Kinesiology and the with the help of some Homoeopathy. My partner when I first met him was terribly allergic to ALL cats.....he only had to be in the same vicinity of one (not even in the same room) and his eyes would swell up,his Asthama would start and horrendous, persistent sneezing...apparently he had this for years. Now I wanted a Siamese (I´ve now got 4) and he was rather worried (quite right too) about his severe cat allergy......so I referred him to this lady Sue Czornenkyj (pro-nounced Chor-nen-key) and within a couple of sessions.....Al has been completely cat allergy free and not only can handle our cats (they even sleep with us) BUT any other person´s cat in any house that he visit´s..and that was nearly 10 years ago. So give Sue a call on 01807 590303 (do leave a message with your contact telephone number and she will get back to you as soon as) and I think you´ll find, she´ll allow you to have a new lease of life again...good luck and all the best now!. |
