PLEASE DON´T FLUSH YOUR FISH!!!

It is becoming increasingly common, for people who keep fish, to realise the value of their tank, it´s filter(s). airpump(s), heater(s). etc.

So what happens to the fish?

Please Don´t do as lots have been doing recently, and flush them down the loo!

If you must part with your tank(s)....

Please either take them back to the shop you got them from, or try and find suitable homes for them, but don´t flush them, they´ll either die, or in some cases block the sewer pipes.

4 MB Puffers came into my care at the weekend just gone. All were found in the sewer pipes of a row of houses. Fortunately they survived, but they ain´t called "puffer" fish for nothing! They had all puffed up (with stress) and blocked the pipes, and emergency drainage guys were sent out to clear the effluent which was coming up into people´s gardens!!

Today, they´re settling into their new tanks, and look healthy, and seem quite happy.

so PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE
