Ill MouseI need help. My mouse Peyton is about 4-5 months old now and since we bought her she has been exhibiting some odd signs. She looks and feels like she is pregnant and is 3 times the sise of her cage mates. But she can´t be pregnant, its impossible because her cage mates are girls and she has been like this for 4 months. I have put a link on here so you can see the sise comparisent to Peyton (Big white one) and her cagemate Pash (Ginger one) http://www.petstreet.co.uk/picture/417758.peyt I need help! Mice are pregnant for about 3 weeks, so unless she has been in-contact with a male mouse within that time then a pregnancy seems unlikely (although are you sure all the mice she is with a female? Sometimes it can be difficult to tell.) If she has always been like this, is bright, eating and well in herself then I wouldn´t be too concerned. However, if you are worried then you should take her to your vet for an examination and ask their opinion. Cat |
