The Cat and The Firemen....

Just thought I´d share a story with you from one of the people who adopted their cat form the same place we got our boys from.

When they adopted her she was quiet, shy, wouldn´t leave their sides. Now she´s started exploring outside more. The other night she went walk about but didn´t come in at bed time. They weren´t oo worried coz she´d done it before and had wondered back by the morning, but this time she didn´t come back.
Naturally her owners were getting pretty worried and went looking for her. They eventually heard a cat crying but couldn´t see it anywhere. After several more hours they asked the neighbour if they could look in their garden. They could here her even more now but still couldn´t see her. Then they realised she was in the nieghbour´s tree, 40 feet up!
They had to call the fire brigade to help coz the poor little cat was pinned to the tree trunk by a branch! It took 8 of them an hour to free her, after cutting branches off and using an infra red camera to locate her! They reckoned she´d been stuck there for nearly 24 hours.
Happily though she was ok. A bit dehydrated and shaken, but no lasting harm done. :-)
