TitleHi everyone I saw the website mentioned in the Daily Mirror on 19/05/09, after a lady wrote to ask advice after losing her beloved cat. Until a month ago I had 2 housecats, brothers, Mikey and Josh 2 1/2 yrs old, then Mikey, a red tabby, decided he no longer wanted to stay with us. He got out and seems to have completely disappeared off the face of the earth. I miss him, his brother, Josh, a black/grey tabby doesn´t! I live on my own, so have no one really to discuss it with. Part of me hopes Mikey is living with an elderly lady who is shelling him prawns. We had a cat that went missing when we moved home. He went out as normal one morning in July and just didn´t come home. We searched everywhere we could think of every day. We went back to our old home every day and looked in all his favourite places where we used to live but all to no avail. Then one night in late October we heard this mioawing outside, along with scratching at the window. I went to see what it was all about because our other cat was laying by the fire asleep and, bless my soul, there he was!!!!!!!!! He was a little skinny and a bit worse for wear but he soon got back to his normal self, so DONT give up hope!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Follow Pat´s advice too, try everything you can just in case somebody has seen him or may know where he is. Is it possible to print out some fliers on your computer with his photo on to post through letter boxes in your area? Make sure you cover a large area, cats can go a long way in no time at all! Good luck with your search, keeping fingers crossed for you....... 24 May 2009 21:59 Welcome to petstreet sorry to hear about your missing cat, have you tried ringing round the local vet´s in case he has been taken in, when we had our veterinary surgery we had cat´a bought in quite often that had been hit by a car and often no one claimed them so it´s worth a try, also putting notices up with his photo asking people to look out for him. I do hope he is safe and you get him back. 23 May 2009 10:31 Hello Judith....welcome to PetStreet and I too was very sorry to read about poor Mikey...but never give up hope and here´s to him returning home oneday!. 22 May 2009 21:53 Welcome to petstreet sorry to hear about Mikey i hope he comes back to you one day. 22 May 2009 18:53 Welcome to petstreet, so sorry to hear about your missing cat!
