Spayed and in shockHi I took my baby, Diva to get spayed this morning. Picked her up at 11.30 and brought her home to rest. Concerned as she wont stop shaking. I´ve covered her with a blanket and been keeping an eye on her but don´t know if there is anything else I can do to comfort her. She looks so pathetic, it breaks my heart. This is because it takes time to fully recover from an anaesthetic and the patient is best to do this in the surgery where they can be monitored. Although spaying is a routine procedure, it is a major one and it does take time for the dog to recover from it properly. if you are at all concerned about Diva then you should speak to your vet, they should be able to give you accurate advice for her, especially as they will have seen her today already.
