Missing grey semi feral cat from Cramar cat rescue, nr. Birmingham

Member Removed
Missing since 28.5.09. he is very timid as he was born in a factory 6 years ago. I have looked after him, but was recently made redundant, so had to find him a new home. He couldn´t settle in the feral compound (too many cats!) and escaped. Please help me find him!

NOW FOUND!!!!!!!!

NOW LOST AGAIN from new owners house on 22.8.09.

I tried that when he went missing before and never got a reply to my email! As i´m 25 miles away from where he´s lost, i don´t know the local station! I´ll have to ask someone. x

Shirley try your local radio station as lots of ppl listen to it during day & if they find kitty they can called the radio station or you ? someone in Derby used the radio station when they lost their dog he was found a week later & was reunited with his owners x

Went over again on Wednesday with a few home made fliers, but there are SO many houses! Stayed for around 1.1/2 hours, whistling and looking, but the area of trees and bushes is huge-AND there is a very busy couple of roads behind the trees................................ I am having loads more fliers printed and a posters for the local shops, and will be going over again Mon/Tues depending when they are ready. I really hope i get a result from this (as i did when he went missing before) cos i can´t keep doing a 50 mile round trip indefinately....................... As someone said, if you never find him, at least he´s neutered and healthy, so i´ve given him a good start, but i´ll never stop worrying about him.

Went again on Thursday, no sign, but Janet left a note with my phone number on at his new owners house, and he rang me yesterday to say he´d seen a grey cat and, when he whistled, he turned round and then went back to hunting in the bush! He didn´t want to get too close as he was near a very busy road and didn´t want to spook him! I went over later and he took me to where he´d seen him. Had a whistle for half an hour, but no sign. He said he would check every couple of hours-he´s not giving up!

Sorry so late with an update, but he escaped again just under 3 weeks ago! The new owners are putting food out for him and whistling, but Cramar have heard nothing from them since 29th August!!! I went with Janet yesterday to have a ´whistle´ at the back of the house-lovely place lots of trees, bushes and a lake-but no sign. We´re going back again soon armed with fliers and posters. He certainly doesn´t like not being free!

I was amazed when i saw him use a litter tray after i´d caught him and returned him to the sanctuary! How would he know what it was for??
I heard yesterday that he likes to sit on the kitchen cabinet or bookcase and lets them stroke him when he´s up there,so sounds like he´s not being shut in one room, which i was dreading! He´s also eating and using the litter tray!!!!! I hope to get another update at the Open Day on Sunday, or even before!
