I have tried on several occasions to get them to come out to attend to injured animals or a neglected one but to no avail. Excuse one GSD injured on motorway - hubbie stopped and put it in his car and then called the RSPCA they said because he had moved the dog they could not attend and it was now down to him. An injured deer - they did not attend to wildlife (I always thought they did) - again down to us to take it to the vet. Dog that was left in a house and continually barking - could not attend until the dog had been left unattended for three or more days. I think the only time they seem to attend is when there are film cameras around or perhaps I´ve just had continual bad luck with them. 06 Nov 2009 00:23 The RSPB didn´t kill the bird - the RSPCA did. I do not care much for the RSPCA they seem to think they can do as they like and do no wrong and are accountable to no-one. |
