one place in garden- Possible?

My little old mongrel would never go in public. When he was out, nothing, and when at home he always went and hid behind the trees so you could never find it anyway. Kept the lawn spotless, though. He was only four weeks when we got him, so behaved very much like a person as he never learned to be a dog. Now I have shit everywhere outside, but so long as it is outside, who cares?

Have you got another spot you could try, if not keep trying no its not to late.

Yes i have trained my dogs to go on a certain place, go with your pup to the spot you want her/him to mess, give the command in a nice voice toilet or poo poo, you have to stay there till hes done it, then give lots of praise, but you will have to repeat this several times till he gets the message. Hope this helps.
