what is wrong with her?

my other guinea pig nibbles has got something really wrong with her and i doubt she has that long to live, her sister had the same problem, but with nibbles it is alot worse and she is constantly either bleeding or has a really bad upset tummy =( her sister died from this and i dont know what could keep causing this because she has been generally healthy but she just got ill and hasnt improved, i went to take her to the vet but it hurt her to move and when i picked her up so i had to leave her, and provided her with plenty of food and water and she didnt touch any of it =( does this mean its the end for poor little nibbles?

Hi Amanda,

If Nibbles is in pain then that is even more reason to take her to the vet, not keep her at home. Also, don´t forget that Guinea Pigs, as prey animals, will hide any discomfort as best they can, so her pain is likely to be even worse than it seems.

You should seek veterinary attention for her as soon as possible. Unfortunately it is now the weekend and you may have to pay an out-or-hours charge, although some vets do run Sunday morning surgeries, but she must be seen.
