Just had to share coz i was so chuffed lolWhen Heidi went for her first jabs 4 year ago the vet put the fear of god into her over the scales, since then we had to take her to a factor in hartlepool to be weighed on their industrial scales, which was fine but ive not been very well for the last week so we couldnt take her and today was her day at the vets for her booster :-( anyway I was determined to get her on those scales lol and I had her fave treat in my bag which was a pedigree dental chew (she wood jump through a hoop of flames for one ) and after ten mins I got her on those scales she even sat down on them, yeah i know its trivial but after trying for 4 years and her being horrified of them it was brilliant to get her on them, and the lttle girl is 76kg (well to be honest closer to 77) gosh I love the love the girl. I say well done to you and your gorgeous baby - to some people it might seem a minor event but you would be surprised how many dogs won´t get on the vet scales at all. |
