Is there a vet or Vet Nurse can answer this one

I have always even when I had a dog yonks back treated the dog to Cheese not fancy stuff just plain mild cheese, yet a friend who visited me saw me give my guy a small treat a bit of cheese as reward she suddenly said God that is so so wrong cheese is bad for dogs, I explained why as at the dog training centre they never told us that and they in turn gave dogs like my Guy treats of cheese also, they have a Vet on hand so why then would they do that knowing it would harm, so what is fact from fiction. Answers please

I should take no notice of your well meaning friend, as long as they are not overweight a small amount can not do any harm.

Hi Barry I am a vet nurse and all my dogs enjoy a small chunk of cheese, it´s only a problem if your dog is alergic to dairy products, and like everything else that is fattening it should be fed in small amounts.
