weird cat behaviour Hi This may sound weird, but I have been wondering for a while now why only one of my cats seems to follow me to the toilet? My fiancée will go but she only follows me and dare i say it, she then rubs against my legs. Its very cute but strange too. She could be asleep in another room but as soon as i go into the bathroom, she will bound out of nowhere and meow, purr and act all cute. I have another cat, but she does no do this as much and if she does come into the bathroom, its because the other one is with me already. I thought it was because ive closed the door but sometimes she is there before me, so i haven´t even had a chance to close the door. Even if she is sleeping peacefully when I get up, I can literally count to ten and by the time I make it to ten, her head appears round the corner! Sometimes she even goes for a wee! Other times she stands on her back legs with her front paws on my leg and headbutts me. Others she will sit on the shelved surface area behind the toilet. It´s cute but weird. She also does it when I go for a shower, she´ll jump up on to the surface behind the toilet and make herself comfy with one arm outstretched, on top of the treasure chest I use for a medicine box. 29 Apr 2010 13:16 so glad i read this! has made my day lol all 7 of my cats do this, sometimes its just one or two but most of the time its all 7! geta very crowded lol there litter tray is in there as well so can be quite funny sittin on the loo and look down and my cat is doin the same but mostly i have them all trying to get on my lap and fighting for my attention, if i try and ignore them then i usual get few claws in the leg lol glad im not the only person with crazy cats and your right it is special as when my boyfriend goes loo they stay well clear......... lol 27 Apr 2010 13:52  one of my cats does this all the time but that is mostly because she wants to be upstairs but is scared of fudge, who mostly lives upstairs now - so she feels safe up there with me. fudge will do it occassionally but not so much. i wonder whether its because when you are on the loo they get your undivided attention! 26 Apr 2010 17:45 thanks for all your comments, Now i know if not just me gorgeous leah who is nuts!
