Warning! Neutering does not stop pregnancies according to silly woman

Member Removed
When out walking with Ruby and Dyson on Friday I was stopped by 2 women and a man; one woman told me I was disgusting... now I am not a pretty nor slim person, but didn´t think I was disgusting! Anyway, whilst I tried to gather my mouth off the floor she continued by telling me I am disgusting because I have a male and a female dog and it is only a matter of time before I start advertising puppies..as if there aren´t enough puppies and dogs in rescue and that no-one should be breeding now; well I calmly informed her that our 2 dogs would NOT be having puppies anytime soon because they are both neutered. Her reply "Well that won´t stop them!" So, to all of us who have a male and a female dog I have to advise that NEUTERING does NOT stop the dogs mating and having puppies according to the authority I will call "NUMPTY" so now we all know, don´t we? Now I hasten to add that whilst this condescending ignorant woman was preaching these interesting facts to me she was walking along the cliff top and there was a moment when I felt a muscle spasm coming on and kicking her over the edge because due to the MS I get these terrible spasms which are documented so I would surely have got away with it on medical grounds LOL. Perhaps next time I see her I will inform her that Ruby and Dyson are siblings (They aren´t really) and know that it would be incestuous to mate so wouldn´t do it and see what her reply would be teehee!

oh my god! really??? its people like that who give us lot a bad name you realise? ie, those of us who heartily agree that animals should be neutered as there is too much breeding going on and too many animals in rescues....my god though, to actually have those views and still not quite get that HAVING THE ANIMALS NEUTERED means THEY CAN´T REPRODUCE...is just scary! i don´t know how you kept a straight face...or refraimed from pushing her off the cliff!

Silly cow and that´s insulting to the cow. God my Huggie Bear would be dead with exhaustion if what this nutter says was true he lives with 3 spayed bitches and 1 unspayed bitch. How did you fight the temption to just give her a quick shove off the cliff top ha ha ha

I think I´d have just been rendered speechless at the woman´s ignorance...she´s obviously not safe to be out, LOL.

I think that is hilarious!! We once had a mare we were thinking of loaning out and this woman came to look at her. When she realised that she shared a field with our male pony, she asked if we weren´t afraid they would mate. No, I says, he is a gelding not a stallion. She looked at me quite blank, obviously had no idea what a gelding was. Needless to say, she didn´t get our pony.

And since you mention it, my mother believed that my rabbits wouldn´t mate because they were brothers and sisters! They are rabbits, mother, I told her. They don´t know they are brothers and sisters!

I think you did well; I would have told her to f off and mind her own business.
