A guppy´s gestation is usually around 28 days but can vary greatly from between 21 - 40 days depending on the temperature within the aquarium and the guppy´s natural genetics. Maybe you will want to set up a plastic breeder box in the aquarium and place gently your pregnant female inside, females should be moved to such birthing area´s usually 20 days after conception......once she has birthed, remove the female from the breeder box and feed the fry some small baby brine shrimp or microworms, etc....your aquatic store will sell, suitable feeding stuff´s for small fry and keep a close eye on your female as giving birth does deplete their energy so they will be grateful for some extra tasty morsels such as bloodworm, etc. Good luck with your baby fish. 11 May 2010 10:49 Hi Will, Your guppy look´s pretty preggers to me......and she doesn´t look like like she has long to drop either.
