crate traininghi i have decided to try and crate train my boxer pup , i didn`t want to but i have to cause i left him by himself for about an hour yesterday had no choice as i was going visting and i came back to found my blinds on my window had been chewed off lol and someone said to put him into a crate when ever i cant take him out with me which isn`t very often as he goes everywhere with me , but i would like to know which is the best way as i dont want him to get stressed about staying in one . oh it would all so be at night time as well From the topic: Comments Post a comment in this discussion: 19 May 2010 07:11 that´s great news...shows he feels happy and secure in there. I always found that if the crate door was closed, Millie would not make a sound even if someone knocked on the door, whereas if she was out and about the house and someone knocked she would definitely bark. 19 May 2010 06:53 great news thanks too everyone advice which i followed rooney slept all night in his crate with the door closed and didn`t cry or leave a mess for me this morning , i cant thank you all enough 18 May 2010 12:41 got the crate today and he has been walking in and out of it now he is a sleep in it , is this a good sign 18 May 2010 08:00 they sell them on gumtree they are secondhand but thares no harm in that some of them go for just £10 |
