crate training

hi i have decided to try and crate train my boxer pup , i didn`t want to but i have to cause i left him by himself for about an hour yesterday had no choice as i was going visting and i came back to found my blinds on my window had been chewed off lol and someone said to put him into a crate when ever i cant take him out with me which isn`t very often as he goes everywhere with me , but i would like to know which is the best way as i dont want him to get stressed about staying in one . oh it would all so be at night time as well

that´s great news...shows he feels happy and secure in there. I always found that if the crate door was closed, Millie would not make a sound even if someone knocked on the door, whereas if she was out and about the house and someone knocked she would definitely bark.
