Looking for a good home for Ice - deaf American Bulldog x BoxerThe Canine Psychology Centre is a rehabilitation centre for problem dogs. We occasionally take in dogs whose owners can no longer cope with them, rehabilitate them and find them new, loving homes. We are currently looking for a good home for Ice - an American Bulldog x Boxer. We are based in the Gainborough area, but could bring Ice to Nottinghamshire to meet any prospective new owners. Ice was rescued from a pound in Manchester where she was on death row. She is only 18 months old and was born deaf, and therefore the pound was finding it difficult to cope with her. Since joining the pack, we´re happy to report that she has been nothing but an angel in every situation and with everyone she´s met. I can´t judge a dog by its history, only by the behaviour I have from the dog here and now. She´s a great addition to the pack and it´s shocking to think she was scheduled for being destroyed. Ice loves her own company, and can keep herself entertained for hours. However, she does like to come and get some fuss and a cuddle when it suits her. She is very independent, and would probably be best suited to a couple or single person who doesn´t want a dog who will constantly want to sit on their knee or be played with all the time. She hasn´t lived with children, but I don´t think she´d be happy with young children fussing over her all the time. She is a low maintenance dog, in need of a simple home with people who will understand her. Email daleisworking@gmail.com if you think you may be able to help.
