Helloo, Two words- oven gloves!!! When my Poppy decides to go for a quick dip in the pond (and stinks) i bath her using oven gloves. They are quite good for washing her with and then i stick them in the washing machine.

When my Daisy was a kitten I occasionally gave her a little bath by filling a washing up bowl with a few inches of warm soapy water so that when she stood in it, it didn´t feel too deep. Then I used to use an old face flannel to dribble water onto her back and legs. Luckily she didn´t seem to mind. I think it is important not to make the cat scared as they obviously don´t want to be underwater at any time. If you are feeling anxious, I believe that they can sense this...so try to stay calm throughout the process! Good luck!
