When my Poppy decides to go for a quick dip in the pond (and stinks) i bath her using oven gloves. They are quite good for washing her with and then i stick them in the washing machine. 17 Aug 2010 12:55 When my Daisy was a kitten I occasionally gave her a little bath by filling a washing up bowl with a few inches of warm soapy water so that when she stood in it, it didn´t feel too deep. Then I used to use an old face flannel to dribble water onto her back and legs. Luckily she didn´t seem to mind. I think it is important not to make the cat scared as they obviously don´t want to be underwater at any time. If you are feeling anxious, I believe that they can sense this...so try to stay calm throughout the process! Good luck! 30 Jul 2010 14:17 I´d never get my cat´s into a bath (LOL), but then again I never need too......they keep themselves immaculate (Hee-hee). 29 Jul 2010 11:13 : ) I thought it would be easy trying to bath a Van cat, i don´t know why people say they like water !
