Thank You Petstreet members I am a recent new member and have been overwhelmed by the friendliness of several of you members; I´ve been invited to jion groups, had friends requests and received so lovely messages. This morning I have discovered {I know, I am a tad stupid perhaps for not noticing before} the "Wall" messages on my profile. I suppose I just log on and go straight to the forums etc so hadn´t gone down the page until just now. Anyway, thanks again for making me feel so welcome; because they were all women please don´t tell the wife!! This morning Katie got up, gave me a strange questioning look and then went downstairs in a strop; she thought I had forgotton our wedding anniversary (as if) and I have to admit to leading her on. As I walked in the house tonight with a crappy bunch of flowers from the local petrol station her face was a picture. Didn´t get a kiss, no "How did your day go?" and I started to get nervous so have had to admit that I have a suprise for her for Saturday. She is now floating on air because she has just read an invitation to a renewal of our vows with everyone from our wedding day for this Saturday; all done behind her back with a new diamond wedding ring and a new engagement ring. Why then is she stomping about upstairs? Because I had left her to stew all day. I can´t win! Anyway, back to the doghouse! 20 Sep 2010 19:44 Vena I am pure as the driven snow me!
