URGENT HELP NEEDEDThis was posted on another forum and I have copied it here to spread the word (with the author´s permission) Please email: Hi all, Some of you may know I am a fosterer for Many Tears Dog rescue, They are in trouble at the moment due to BT changeing there telephone number with no prior notice, please read the following which is taken from the MT website and spend 2 mins to help!! We are having great problems with BT ... We don´t seem to be able to fix this but with all your help we may. Please e mail or call BT with this complaint. They do not and will not listen to one voice maybe they will listen to many. Their action has sadly already cost the lives of 2 dogs. I received an email to say as they could not get us on the phone they put to sleep their dogs.... I am furious with BT. This has taken hours of my time away from the dogs. We needed our line mended as we could not hear... BT came said it was our phone system.. They said we needed a £2,000 upgrade, an office volunteer stepped into help. The line was installed... still no good.... then BT sent out a new engineer who said the whole line was faulty and we never needed the upgrade. We then called the sales rep of BT and he said that was rubbish and that we need to wait to be switched digital and that would require a new line. We waited and then without asking they changed our number. Now people have to call on our private home number. We are exhausted, dogs are dying, others cannot get through to adopt. We want back our number of 01269 843084. They gave us a new number without telling us which is 01269 843149. We have letter heads, leaflets, business cards etc all out there with our own number. I am exhausted trying to get something done. Will you or can you help PLEASE try to help.. 5000 complaints from you all a day may get something done! BT ought to be ashamed of themselves and I hope if the upgrade wasn´t needed they return the £2,000, and they should be compensating MT for all the inconvenience and stress they´ve caused them. 22 Oct 2010 16:48 Thankyou.
