moveing tropical fish ?we are currently planning a move but the problem is the tropical fish the water has to be kept at a certin temp ... but the move will take up to 4 hours and we wont beble to keep the water warm for that amount of time is it better to rehome the fish then to move them and risk them dieing and how do we rehome fish ? its not nice haveing to do this but they just will not survive the journey so rehomeing them my be the best choice we dont know what to do for the best From the topic: Comments Post a comment in this discussion: 16 Nov 2010 22:43 Member Removed Tina thank-you for the advice Noo posted this on my behalf the proplem is that when i reset the tank up you have to leave it a couble of weeks to get the water back to being right for them to survive the neons will be fine but the rest of my fish need to go in to an established tank so it might be best if i re-home the fish with some one that already has a tank set up,i am still not sure what to do. 28 Oct 2010 18:36 Member Removed There is a specialist that will move tropical fish or you can buy special moving cases for them that keeps them warm for a max of 5 hours xxx |
